Conquerers of the Galaxy by Playus Maximus
Not yet avaialble. A planned sister game to
Smugglers of the Galaxy. Plans to produce this
appear to have been cancelled as of Feburary 2005.
Corellian Smuggler (1996) by Dan Verssen
This was published in Shadis magazine #27.
It is based on the orginal concept by John Zinser.
It is a solitaire role playing game part of which
is combat between the smuggler's ship and TIE
fighters.

This games doesn't really deal with spaceships except
maybe in a totally abstract way, but the Avalon Hill
edition uses little plastic spaceships as counters.
Besides it is a great game, so I'll include it here.

This is a game published in the Countermoves Zine
Vol. 1 Issue 2. It uses the Countermoves Generic
Microgame Engine, also published in that zine. The
rules are written with a very tongue in cheek style.

D-Weapon: The Game of Space Combat in Dragonar by Tsukuda Hobby
A games of space combat, looks to be mech vs. mech, set
in the anime world of Dragonar. This is a companion game
to Metal Armor the game of Space Dogfight in Dragonar. This game is in Japanese.

Damocles Mission (1983) by SPI and by TSR
Out of print. This game is the exploration of
an alien spaceship orginally published in Ares
magazine. The ship is represented by tiles that
are layed out during the game. It was inspired
by the Arthur C. Clarke novel, "Rendezvous with Rama".
It was first printed in Ares magazine #13.

Dark Stars (1980) by Simulations Canada
Out of print.
Designed by S. Newberg. Each race has different capabilities.
Both interstellar and in system flight are used. Based more
on hard science than most games. Playing takes a lot of
paperwork. Little player interaction, works as a solitaire
game.
Dark Suns by Eric Henry
Designed by Eric Henry. Note while this game was called
Dark Skies in the second edition, there is a different but
related game named Dark Skies now. Dark Suns covers the
