on the Warp Skirmish Engine for 2 players. It uses
a chessboard, chits or minis and cards. The rules,

Simulates combat between relativistic Bussard ramjet starships.
Near light speed combat is handled by pre-plotting moves and
then re-plotting when new information is available. This extra
complication provides a more accurate simulation. Designed by

A German game with rules written in German.
This tactical space compbat game was a
companion to the RPG game of the same
name. There were several supplement to the game.
This game was designed by Reiner Müller. There are
six classes of ships in the game, and a form of vector
movement is used. Combat is fairly simple. The game
has 10 scenarios.
Included is a box dealing with massed fleet
combat between Maahks & Arkons.
This is to be a new version of the 1969 classic
Lensman game by Phil Pritchard. This game is
based on the Lensman novels by Doc Smith. It
will have strategic and tactical maps with
both retro and modern versions of the maps,
counters, and rules. This was to have been
released in Nov. 2004, but has been delayed.
So far sample artwork of the board and counters
has been posted with both new and retro versions.
There is planned to be three versions at differnet
levels of detail and complexity. "The first is a
fun and quick game you can play in a few hours. The
second includes exploration, industrialization,
production, and combat. The last is the most complex,
featuring tactical combat in deep space or in star
systems generated for each game." The developers had
a booth at the 2007 Origins. No timetable for
publication is set

It has three scenarios for two players and can also be
played solitaire. The players conduct research to develop
their rockets and loads, which they then launch. They earn
prestige by successful public launches. Designed by Rob

This was a series of games set in the same setting,
were some of the games could be played together.
Orginally these games were intended to be in the
Star Wars setting, but FASA lost the rights to do
so after playtesting. Only those games that involve
spaceships are listed. There are miniatures available
for Interceptor and Centurion.
Includes space combat within a solar system.
For a while Night Shift has the license from FASA
to produce these games, but lost it when they
did not produce enough to satisfy FASA.

from an alien spaceship.
A strategic conquest game. Designed by S. Cole.
A 1 to 6 player games of galactic empire building,
which includes giant spaceships, other dimensions,
and all-powerful computers. There are four scenarios
with typical play time of 90 minutes. Multiman Publishing
has plans to publish this game sometime in the future.
Also named Ginga Teikoku no Koubou.
Primarily an economic game, but can have spaceship combat.
This game does have rules for how it takes less force to
accelerate a ship as its fuel is used up. Designed by
Phil Eklund.

and set out to bring back asteriods with the most valuable metals.
For 2 to 5 players ages 10 and up. This game is supplied as a pdf
file and will be needed to printed out in order to play. Sample
